TOM LUDDINGTON – TYF
Tom has been Adventuring for both work and play for 20 years, and currently works with schools and businesses using outdoor adventures to inspire radical changes for health, wellbeing and the environment. After graduating from Bangor with an Environmental degree in 1999, Tom attended Plas Menai to gain qualifications and experience to lead others out adventuring in the mountains and on the sea. Tom went on to gain advanced leadership qualifications in sea kayaking, coasteering, surf coaching and rock climbing. In 2007, Tom combined his environmental degree, love of wildlife and experience in the outdoors to become the Activities Liaison Officer for the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter group (POCG), bringing together the Adventure businesses in Pembrokeshire to ensure that adventure activities developed in a way that was sustainable for the environment and wildlife of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Tom also represented the adventure activities sector as a Director on the Pembrokeshire Tourism Board, and throughout the development of the Wales Activity Tourism Organisation. Tom currently works at TYF Adventure in Pembrokeshire and balances work with surfing, climbing, music and magic.
